Athens Victorian

Built in 1866, this ornate Victorian nestled in the trees features spacious rooms, high ceilings, large windows, and light changing beautifully as the day progresses. Inside, the house is packed to the rafters with a dense homage to 19th century decorative arts, creating a rich and immersive nest of atmospheres. The front and back parlors, redolent in russet and golds, the stair hall replete with landscape paintings as a nod to the Hudson River School. Other rooms include four bedrooms, each with their own personality, be it French, Catholic, Floral or Spartan, a study full of antique photography, the kitchen with its great collection of blue and white ironstone, the summer kitchen and a solarium, verdant with dozens of plants.
